In all fairness this could have been faulty unit and Anker did send me a replacement straight away.I've been using the replacement unit for a few months now and i do not have experience any issues with swelling so all good? Well not exactly during fast charging the casing around the usb ports get really warm, warmer than i would like and it does make me think that this could be a bad design and maybe the circuit board is not properly isolated from both the casing and the battery cell itself. The biggest issue however is when i got some swelling on the casing which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. However when you fast charging with USB-C the state of charge indicator losses its accuracy, for example for the first 15 min its might be on the 3 bar and within the next 5 min will jump down to 1 which is not ideal. So when i got this battery bank everything worked as advertised, the USB-C port is bi-directional for charging the battery bank itself and fast charge other devices with maximum of 20W so that's all well and good.
